Description
This view is looking north from Ocean Street in the south end of Rockland. The two-masted schooner in the foreground is tied up at a wharf at Isaiah A. Jones's shipyard.
Beyond the shipyard, one can see the Lindsey Wharf, and the wharf belonging to Captain Israel Snow, and beyond that the wharf belonging to George L. Snow.
The tall building with the square cupola in the center distance is the Lynde Hotel on Main Street at the foot of Park Street.
