Description
Martha J. Moulton, who was about 20 years old, wrote to "Beloved friends" about her new job at a mill at "Great Falls," probably in New Hampshire. A native of Parsonsfields, Moulton reported she liked the mill job "a great deal better than I expected to when I started from home."
Moulton wrote the letter in May and said she planned to stay until September.
