Description
The Wadsworth Longfellow house on Congress Street in Portland, as it looked on August 7, 1906.
The Wadsworth-Longfellow House was home to the Peleg Wadsworth family and later to the Stephen and Zilpah Wadsworth Longfellow family. It was the childhood home of poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807-1882).
