Description
This postcard is one of several created throughout the early 20th century depicting Lithgow Public Library, showing the Library from Winthrop Street, with The Kennebec Valley YMCA (KVYMCA) building on State Street to the right.
The KVYMCA relocated to a new facility on Union Street in 2006, and the 1914 building shown here was torn down in 2011. There is a date stamp from September 3rd, 1952 on the back side of the postcard.
