Description
Bridgton High School is the tax record for a high school located at Gibbs Avenue, around 1938.
Portland architect Francis Fassett designed the building, and it was constructed in 1872. In 1949 the building was converted into an elementary school when a new high school was built. The building was razed in 1990 after unsuccessful attempts to renovate or reuse it.
The card references a deed dated 1897; this is not the date of the photograph.
