Description
Workers operated tractors to haul sled loads of salvage logs near Bridgton in the winter months. Local woodsmen working on privately-owned land performed the salvage logging.
The logs were sold to the Northeastern Timber Salvage Administration, which conducted salvage logging activities in the aftermath of the New England Hurricane of 1938.
