Description
Workers operating a tractor pulled six sleds of pulpwood across the snow as part of a Brown Company pulpwood logging operation in Magalloway Plantation.
The logs were eventually transported to a pulpwood mill. The Northeastern Timber Salvage Administration oversaw these salvage logging efforts in the aftermath of the New England Hurricane of 1938.
