Description
Workers unloaded logs from a truck onto the ice at Lake Pennesseewassee, staging them on the frozen lake for transport by stream to a mill, following the spring ice melt.
The Northeastern Timber Salvage Administration oversaw the salvage logging efforts in the aftermath of the New England Hurricane of 1938.
