Description
20 Portland Street is the tax record for a three unit apartment building located in Bridgton and owned by Etta Davis and Blynn Davis at the date of this survey, around 1938. The name Minta J. Hale also appears, typed in parenthesis. Hale is a surname associated with the Davis family in Bridgton, but the meaning of this notation is unclear.
The address given is the address at the time of the survey, and has probably changed. The card references a deed dated 1897; this is not the date of the photograph.
