Description
Arlene W. Plummer enrolled at Farmington State Normal School after graduating from Lawrence High School.
Plummer was very active on campus and involved in a variety of school organizations during her years as a student from 1921–1923. She was a member of the House Committee, which oversaw the dormitory rules and some of the social event planning in Purington Hall, and of the Student Council. Plummer participated in the Dramatics Club, Glee Club, Christian Association, and Witewentin Campfire Girls. In 1923 she was a member of the Effesseness yearbook committee and class Vice President.
Arlene Plummer went on to earn her Master’s degree at Seton Hall University and teach sixth grade in New Jersey.
