Description
Farmington State Normal School students Alta and Myrtle McLean were sisters from Ox Box in Aroostook County who entered the Normal School in fall 1921. Alta was age 18; Myrtle was 20.
Neither graduated from the Normal School, but both entered with some teaching experience. They went on to teach in Maine schools, Alta at Witopitlock and Myrtle in Ox Bow.
