Description
Farmington State Normal School students and roommates Leona Coy and Eva Cummings (on the right) became good friends. Coy graduated in 1923. Cummings left the Normal School before she graduated and took up a teaching position in Raymond.
Cummings kept in touch with Coy, and wrote a very long letter to her friend in January 1923 detailing her experiences as a teacher, and expressing how much she missed her Normal School friends. Cummings did return a few years later and eventually graduated in 1928.
