Description
The boathouse at Camp Runoia as it looked in 1947. The building was designed by Lucy Weiser, Camp co-founder, and built in around 1915. It is still used as a boathouse today and as a meeting place for swimming and sailing lessons. One of the unique attractions of the boathouse is the hundreds of signatures of past campers on the walls of the boathouse, dating back to 1920. Campers who are at least 14 years old, and who have spent two summers at Camp Runoia are qualified to add their names to the wall.
