Description
This is Denis Martin's "corbillard' of Frenchville, Maine. This photo was taken on January 16, 1922. In the background is the present day home of Fernand and Norma Martin of Frenchville. The "corbillard" was used for funerals and stored in a shed located on the corner of present day US Route 1 and Route 162 - the location of Jim's Convenience Store in Frenchville, Maine.
