Description
A photographer, Joseph Schisano once located at 37 ½ Middle street in Portland, took this studio portrait a group of Italian Black Shirt Fascists. Schisano, an Italian immigrant, worked as a photographer in Portland from 1918-1959.
Lorenzo Lapomarda (1886-1973) is at top row center. His brother-in-law, Matteo Pacillo (d. 1970) is in the bottom row, second from left. Pacillo was married to Lampomarda's sister, Michelina.
The Italian at the bottom of photo loosely translates to “SECTION SEVEN FASCIST ALDO”
