Description
While Bessie Greenblatt taught on Westport Island at the North End School during the fall and winter of 1929 and the spring of 1930, she boarded with a widow, Annie Robinson Colby (1873-1937).
A relative of Annie's, Freeman Colby, also lived with her, and is seen in this photo being playful while his photo is being taken -- probably by Bessie.
This photo came from Bessie's photo album and was titled by her: "'Free' in gay mood. Mrs. Colby, the one and only."
