Bessie Greenblatt titled this picture "Me and My School." This picture was taken while she was a teacher at the North End School on Westport Island in 1929 to 1930.
Bessie numbered the students in the photo: standing l-r, 1. Evelyn Colby, 2. Beatrice Jones, 3. Etta Mae Colby, 4. Dorothy Higgins, (Bessie Greenblatt, teacher), 5. Bertha Jones; seated l-r, 6. Frankie Greenleaf, 7. Leola Wass, 8. Doris Higgins, 9. Ethel Higgins, 10. Junior.
