Description
John R. Eaton of Wilton, a physician, attended Farmington Academy and the Maine Wesleyan Seminary before studying at the Maine Medical School and New York University.
He served as Assistant Surgeon in the 2nd Maine Cavalry.
He was a member of the Wilton Superintending School Committee, Supervisor of Schools, and was a member of the Maine House of Representatives in 1879.
