Description

Formed in 1933 by the National Industrial Recovery Act (NIRA), the National Recovery Administration aimed to give workers a voice, as well as establish minimum wage, maximum work hours and the minimum price of products. In 1935 the Supreme Court deemed the NRA unconstitutional.

The "Blue Eagle" poster, featuring the slogan "We do our part," demonstrated member support for the National Recovery Administration's policies. It was prominently displayed in store windows and on products.
