Description
This is a postcard of the Annie Robinson Colby residence, which was also a working farm. Annie was the widow of Rial Plummer Colby, Jr. (1866-1908). Like many residents on Westport Island, she took in boarders, which likely explains this postcard image by traveling photographer E. Joseph Leighton.
The back of the house looks out over the Back River towards Woolwich.
