Description
William Cobb enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1917, training at Camp Bartlett in Westfield, Massachusetts until he was sent overseas to France in October of the same year.
The enclosure for a second copy of this image is embossed Deering High School '15. It is likely this image is a school photograph. Cobb graduated from Deering High School in 1915, and attended the University of Maine for two years before enlisting.
