Description
During World War I the folks at home were encouraged to send mail to the troops to keep their morale up. Personalized postcards were a popular and widely available way to do so.
This unused postcard reads: "From Biddeford, Maine - To A Soldier Friend - Memories of by gone days - Before you went away - Keep coming up before me - Every hour of the day." The back of the card is empty except for the text "No. 688 War Motto Pennant - 12 designs".
