Description
Dorothy Stanley Emmons, born in Massachusetts, captured a photograph of oxen pulling a large block of granite at the Farmington Fair. Dorothy is the daughter of early 20th century Maine photographer Chansonetta Stanley Emmons. She accompanied her mother on photography trips throughout New England and the American South.
