Description
Asa Burns posed working on her floor loom in her West New Portland home. Titled "Weaving, W. New Portland, Me," Chansonetta Stanely Emmons depicted Burns deep in concentration weaving.
Chansonetta traveled around New England with her daughter Dorothy, photographing rural people and scenes. She frequently spent summers in the Kingfield area photographing relatives and neighbors at work.
