Description
Chansonetta Stanley Emmons is known for her images of rural life taken during the early 20th century in New England. Two women stand in shafts of light, and a man stands in front of the sugar house surrounded by woods. This image is likely part of a slide show compiled to show audiences. Her daughter Dorothy is thought to have hand-tinted each lantern slide.
