Description
Born in 1858, Chansonetta Stanley Emmons toured New England during the early 20th century, took photographs of rural life and scenes, and often returned to her native Kingfield area. This hand-painted lantern slide of a mare and colt likely formed part of a slide program she compiled to show audiences.
