Description
In this image, two men cleared heavy snow while behind them, a team of oxen waited patiently hitched to a snow plow. The slide bears the inscription 'From the painting of W. P. Phelps.' Artist William Preston Phelps, a celebrated New Hampshire painter, created the original artwork.
