Description
Letter from John Campbell, Commander at Fort George, to Brigadier General Peleg Wadsworth, dated August 14, 1780, admonishing Wadsworth on his views concerning the exchange of British prisoners of war.
The letter especially concerns the exchange of Brigadier General of Militia Charles Cushing of Pownalborough, although he is not named.
