Description
The postcard publisher, Eastern Illustrating Co., often cropped their 5" x 7" glass plate negatives to accommodate the size of a postcard.
This postcard negative wasn't cropped in the same manner as another version, so the Walter Coombs Garage on the left wasn't visible. However, this cropping showed another white house on the right where Lloyd Palmer (1919-1994) lived for many years.
When Georgia and Newell “Roger” Glidden purchased the house at 75 Main Street in 2008, they moved it back from the street toward the tree line.
