Description
An American Bandstand-type program, The Dave Astor Show aired in Maine on Saturday afternoons from 1956 through 1971.
On March 31, 1962, Freeport High School students were guests on the show. In this photo, host Dave Astor talked with series regular Pam Johnson.
The Dave Astor Show aired on WCSH, Portland's NBC affiliate, from 1956 through 1971. Originally titled "For Teenagers Only," Astor's program was first broadcast on WGAN (WGME) and moved to WCSH in 1963.
