Description
The photo caption within August 3rd, 1921 edition of the Portland Evening Express read: "President Pins in Lapel a Flower Little Girl Has Passed Him." President Warren G. Harding's visit to the Crawford House in New Hampshire was captured by the Portland newspaper, and featured in a spread on page 20.
In August of 1921, President Harding toured New England. Maine stops included Poland Spring and Portland.
