Description
Walter S. Tingley drove his team of six horses as they pulled the Fred Hall house down Pine Point beach in Scarborough. The three-story, twelve room house was moved a mile and a half, at 600 to 700 feet a day, over greased skids laid across movable tracks. Related pictures ran in the August 3rd Portland Press Herald and the August 4th Portland Sunday Telegram.
