Description
Three legionnaires posed with their wives in this portrait. The man on the left had a Maine State flag emblem on his shoulder patch and wore two medals, one of which is in the shape of a pine tree. American Legion annual conferences provided front-page news for the Portland newspapers in the 1920s and 1930s.
