Description
Teddy McDowell, a five-year old in the Garvin School sub-primary class, discovered Mickey Mouse in this box from the North Pole. The toys were donated by Martin's Toy store at 580 Congress Street. This picture was one of three featured on the front page of the December 24th, 1936 edition of the Portland Evening Express. The collection was titled "A Hint To Santa Starts Christmas Activity In Local Schools".
