Description
Mr. Robichaud was captured putting the finishing touches on birch dowels manufactured at Saunders Brothers mill. Mr. Robichaud is finishing the dowels by enameling and lacquering them. As the article in the Portland Evening Express, December 3rd edition noted, this was one of many products that kept the factory busy; Saunders Brothers also made lollipop sticks, chair rounds, and umbrella handles.
