Description
V.W. Libby was a retired salesman from South Portland who picked up the hobby of raising fancy poultry while traveling extensively in western Canada. In this article, an expert from Sweden ordered some of his poultry to bring back to their homeland to improve the native stock. He is quoted “Yes sir, South Portland’s chickens are scratching Swedish soil today.”
