Description
On Monday June 29, 1925, many of the nation's Governors arrived in Maine for the annual Governors convention that was held in Poland Spring. The Governors arrived to much fanfare, including the roaring of the guns at Fort Williams and the blaring horns of the Fifth Infantry Band. The attendees were treated to an elaborate picnic and luncheon during the event.
