Description
A daguerreotype in its mat, without a case, depicted The Log Cabin and Hard Cider Club. The image was taken February 1853 by George M. Howe. The inscription reads, "This picture is to be given to the last survivor of the Cabin."
The Log Cabin and Hard Cider Club was a local Whig party political organization.
