Description
George Follett was photographed in his Civil War uniform, during or after the war. Follett enlisted in the 9th Maine, Co. C in September 1861. Originally from Moscow, he lived most of his life in New Sharon. He survived the war, and worked as a farmer until his death in 1919. He was promoted to Corporal in 1862.
