Description
From July 12 to July 18 of 1925, the National Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs (NFBPWC) held their seventh annual convention in Portland. Women came from far and near, some as far as Hawaii, to attend the convention with their state's delegations. Pictured here is the delegation from Kansas.
This image appeared in the July 14, 1925 edition of the "Portland Evening Express." The caption read "You can tell by the hats that they're from the state of the cyclones...You never see a Kansas girl with her hat on straight. Over the left ear is the rule."
