Description
From July 12 to July 18, 1925, the National Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs (NFBPWC) held its seventh annual convention in Portland.
Besides the convention proper within Portland, the organization also planned outings for its members. One of these outings took them to Old Orchard Beach, where they went on amusement rides, strolled along the beach, and danced on the Pier. Organizers termed the event "prankfest" and held it on the last day of the convention.
