Description
There were certain sections of cities and populated towns that housed several outlets of clothing companies to attract customers and to compete with other retailers. Lerner shops (now New York and Company) and Rogers Jewelry store were located at 545 & 551 Congress Street, Portland. Women are seen here crossing Oak Street in Portland.
