Businesses on Market Square, from left to right, included the Snell House, Geo. S. Gentle Company, The Temple Cinema, and F. W. Woolworth. In the foreground was the Ensign Animal Fountain with the top off and on the ground to the left.
The fountain had drinking spots for horses, birds, dogs, and humans. The fountain was seen in many different spots in photographs of Market Square.
