Description
The Houlton theater, opened by the Black and Churchill interests in 1941, was one of the finest in the county. It had a capacity of 862 people and was torn down in the early 1960s.
At the time of this photo, the film, Carousel, was playing, starring Shirley Jones and Gordon Macrae
