Contributed by Aroostook County Historical and Art Museum

Description

This film documents students of Ricker Classical Institute in Houlton entering a building, the students in the dinning hall, students leaving the Temple Theater, and lastly, the fire of Wording Hall.

The loss of the 56-year old structure to fire was devastating to the school as well as the town. Records dating back a century were lost and one soldier from the Houlton base was burned.
