Description
The Charles A. Dana Health Education Center was constructed above the Southern Maine Radiation Therapy Institute. The center add classrooms, conference rooms, and a 236-seat auditorium. It was designated for community health programs and for educational programs for Maine Medical Center residents, medical students, doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals. Connected to the Dana Center were the original central tower of Maine General Hospital and the Richards Wing.
