Description
An example of late century outerwear, this black waist length heavy wool cape features soutache braids in a leaf and scroll design at the collar, and extending down from the shoulder. The soutache, a flat decorative trim in this instance made of cotton, also appears under the collar, allowing for the collar to be worn flat or standing.
