Description
Drop-waist dresses are closely associated with 1920s fashions. This ready-to-wear piece from Bergdorf Goodman department store in New York features other period elements, such as an asymmetrical hem, lace overlay dress, and a detachable belt with a decorative buckle. The bold reddish-orange color contrasts with the lace's gold floral motif. The dress was once part of the Westbrook College costume collection.
