Lamé dress with beaded details, ca. 1930

Description

This dress is a 3/4 length sleeveless silk garment in green and silver, with thick straps, a straight neckline, and a metallic finish. It fastens with a hook, eye, and snaps on the back left side and features pleats at the front waist. Accompanying it is a full-length sleeveless top adorned with green gems, lined with light green silk crepe. Additionally, it includes a matching belt with a gemstone buckle.

Lamé fabric is made from metallic yarns woven into materials like silk, polyester, or cotton, resulting in a shiny, metallic appearance.
