Description

A view of the town of Belfast from Roger's Hill. Drawn by George H. Swift (1827-1893), the lithograph was published by Tappen & Bradford's Lithographers of Boston. The image, not drawn to scale, features the harbor, ships and the town of Belfast in the distance; with homesteads and several people standing in the foreground.

The vantage point was from Roger's Hill, on the east side of the Passagassawakeag River.
